About Our Products

Product Information: Because our soaps and skincare items are handmade in small batches, slight variations in color, size, scent, and appearance are natural and part of the handmade process. These variations don’t affect quality or performance.

Pricing: All prices are in US dollars and may change without notice. If we discover a pricing error after you’ve placed an order, we’ll contact you before processing it.

Product Availability: Products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue products at any time.

Orders and Payment

Placing an Order: When you place an order, you’re making an offer to purchase our products. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. Your order is confirmed when we send you a shipping confirmation email.

Payment: Payment is due at the time of purchase. We accept major credit cards and debit cards. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By completing a purchase, you agree to Stripe’s terms of service in addition to ours.

Order Cancellation: You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, as long as it hasn’t shipped yet. Once shipped, the order cannot be canceled, but you may return it according to our return policy.

Shipping and Delivery

Processing Time: We process orders within 2–3 business days. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing the next business day.

Domestic Shipping (US): We ship all US orders via USPS Ground Advantage. Standard shipping is a flat rate of $5.99, with free shipping on orders $40 and over. Estimated delivery is 2–5 business days. All domestic orders include full tracking and $100 of shipping insurance. Priority Mail is available at checkout as an upgraded option and is recommended for body butter orders placed between May and September.

International Shipping (Canada): We ship to Canada at a flat rate of $14.99 with an estimated delivery of 1–4 weeks. Packages valued over $20 CAD may be subject to GST/HST; orders over $150 CAD may incur customs duties. These fees are the responsibility of the recipient and are collected upon delivery.

Body Butter Heat Policy: Body butters are sensitive to heat and may soften or melt during transit in warm weather. We ship year-round but strongly recommend selecting Priority Mail between May and September. Selah Soaps Co is not responsible for products that melt during standard shipping in warm months.

Delivery Issues: We’re not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, incorrect addresses, or circumstances beyond our control. Once your package is handed to the carrier, they’re responsible for delivery.

Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

Returns: You may return unopened and unused products within 14 days of receiving them. We cannot accept returns on opened or used items unless the product is defective.

Sale Items and Custom Orders: All sale items and custom orders are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Exchanges: We’re happy to exchange unused products within 14 days of purchase for items of equal value. Contact us at selahsoaps22@gmail.com to arrange an exchange.

Refunds: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days after we receive your returned item. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Damaged or Defective Products: If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us immediately at selahsoaps22@gmail.com with photos. We’ll send a replacement at no cost.

Product Use and Safety

Intended Use: Our products are for external use only. Keep out of reach of children.

Patch Test Recommended: We recommend doing a patch test before using any new product, especially if you have sensitive skin or known allergies.

Not Medical Products: Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. If you have specific health concerns, are pregnant, or are nursing, please consult your healthcare provider before use.

Allergies and Reactions: Please review ingredient lists carefully before purchasing. We’re not responsible for allergic reactions. If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional if necessary.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Selah Soaps Co is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or website. Our total liability for any claim related to your purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for the product.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
